PREROLL VIDEO AD
Video Format:
- Video ad aspect ratios can be 4:3 or 16:9
- Video will be scaled to show in different size video players
- Acceptable file formats: AVI (non-proprietary codec), WMV, MOV (non-proprietary codec), MPG
- AAC, FAAC, and SONICL audio encoding is currently not supported
- Maximum file size 250Mb
- Duration can be between 10 and 15 seconds
- Minimum dimensions are 480x360 (4:3) or 480x270 (16:9)
- Minimum data rate is 700 kbps
- APT will encode video in the following bit rates: 100, 300, 700, or 1000k
- Frame rate should be between 14.5 fps and 30.5 fps
- Minimum key frame intervals should be set every 4 seconds
- Minimum audio frequency should be 22 KHz
- Minimum audio rate should be 32 kbps
Invitation Overlay:
- Visual cue that shows on top of the video ad when the it first loads
- Up to 2 lines of text and 15 characters per line
- Default text over 2 lines unless otherwise noted, "Mouse here for more..."
Product Message:
- Product Message, description, or call to action that overlays the video ad on mouse over
- URL to landing page must be provided
- Message can either be text or graphical
- Text
- Up to 2 lines of text and 30 characters per line
- Default text on 1 line unless otherwise noted, "Click here for more..."
- Graphical
- JPG, GIF (no animation), PNG, or SWF accepted
- Dimensions can vary. Width between 42 - 300 and height between 32 - 80
- Maximum file size 30k
- SWF must be published for flash player 9, as3 only
- No click tags or buttons needed in SWF because it cannot be interacted with
Optional Assets:
- 3rd party tracking via transparent 1x1 pixels (from approved vendors) to measure ad playback at 0, 25, 50, 75, and/or 100%
- Up to three 3rd party impression tracking pixels can be used to track the initial load of the pre-roll
- Click tracking via 3rd party click url

All video ads must be submitted to the ad ops team 3 days prior to campaign launch meeting the above specs or possible delay may occur.
